The analyst predicted a correction in the cryptocurrency market

The digital asset market is waiting for a short-term correction, since the price of bitcoin has not yet been affected by the Fed's intention to postpone the rate cut. This was stated to The Block by the head of the Bitfinex derivatives department, Jag Kooner.

On February 4, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, in an interview with 60 Minutes, ruled out an early rate cut in 2024, despite the market's expectation of this event in March. He called it "unlikely."

Recall that at the meeting on January 31, the Fed kept the key rate range at 5.25–5.5% per annum.
