The FHSS method.
• FHSS is another method of signal processing in order to expand its spectrum, used in wireless local area networks.
• The FHSS method also splits the frequency range 2400-2483.5 MHz into bands, but, unlike DSSS, these channels have a width of 1 MHz and their number is 79. This is where their similarity ends, and the further principles of work are fundamentally different from each other.
• According to the FHSS method, data is transmitted only over one channel, but the channel itself with a frequency of no more than 20 ms changes pseudorandom. Moreover, the channel change scheme is determined and agreed upon between the transmitter and receiver in advance, at the connection stage. This approach allows you to significantly reduce the likelihood that something can interfere with data transmission.
• Compared to DSSS, the FHSS method is more noise-proof. The reason is the width of the channel that is used for data transmission
